The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program (EEC), with support from strategic national and regional partners, is responsible for facilitating ongoing energy conservation initiatives that aim to reduce Canada’s energy waste, lower the carbon footprint, and deliver operational savings.

Buildings that enroll in EEC Program Initiatives receive financial incentives, utility savings for their tenants, and energy advisory services to optimize mechanical performance. The EEC Program will track real-time carbon emission intensity data for participating buildings across Canada, in order to create nationwide awareness for energy efficiency and conversation.
